Tristan Kasten-Krause (Double Bass)

Tristan Kasten-Krause has been playing the double bass for 13 years. He is currently a senior majoring in Bass Performance at the University of Oklahoma. He also studied for 2 years at Bowling Green University in Bowling Green, Ohio. Tristan currently studies bass with Anthony Stoops and composition with Marvin Lamb; previous bass teachers have included Tracy Rowell and Henry Peyrebrune.

Tristan performs as a member of the University of Oklahoma Philharmonic, as well as with the Oklahoma Civic Orchestra, the University of Oklahoma New Improv! Century Ensemble and the Boomer Bass Ensemble. He has taught bass at the Sooner String Project.
