Annatova Neches (Voice, Mural Design)

Annatova Neches is a recent addition to the Norman Community, having moved to Norman three years ago from Baltimore City. With an arts and science background, Annatova's world travels have greatly influenced her interest in music, art, and teaching. Classical training in piano, guitar, clarinet, and viola helped to create a musician with tastes that range from classical to contemporary. With her musical focus concentrating on voice and live performance, Annatova uses her artistic influences to round out her position as frontperson and manager of the local band Circe.

Annatova's classical training in drawing and painting has evolved into her own interpretation of mural design, portraiture and graphic design. She apprenticed with her mother, Teresa Young, a classical oil painter, and has taken courses at the Maryland Institute College of Art (oil painting) and Goucher College (drawing, illustration) in Baltimore, MD. In addition, Annatova worked at the Interior Design firm B4 Design in Baltimore doing technical drawing.
