Dance Around The World
Summer Schedule
Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 PM
The four-week Summer session will meet weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays from July 9-August 1, 2012. Students may enroll through July 11th.
Ages: Grades K-2
Course Description: Dance Around The World teaches children in kindergarten through second grade about arts and culture through dance. Classes offer a complete arts education experience, by incorporating story, crafts, costuming and language. This summer, students will “travel” to the Indonesian island of Bali. One class a week will feature a cultural focus for creative movement. The alternating class will focus on modern dance technique, continuing cultural awareness of Bali, but shifting emphasis to dance elements and principles of dance making. Students will share what they have learned in an end-of-session performance for family and friends.

$10 Registration Fee (waived if pre-paid by July 6, 2012)
Minimum Enrollment: 6
