Angela Adragna (Voice)

Angela AdragnaAngela Adragna is originally from Nyack, NY, a small town just around the corner from New York City.  She holds a BA from SUNY Albany in Voice Performance and a masters degree from the University of Oklahoma, under the tutelage of world renowned tenor, Bill Neill.  Angela has worked with many prominent teachers, coaches and conductors, including Roger Malouf, Steven Crawford, David Grebarkewitz and David Bender.  Some of her favorite performance experiences include performing The Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte, Adele in Die Fledermaus and Siebel in Faust, singing back up vocals for Sarah Brightman’s La Luna World Tour, and singing in the chorus of Dom Sebastien featuring Mezzo-Soprano Vessalina Kasarova under the direction of Eve Queler.  This past year, Angela sung the world premiere of Maria Karpova’s epic Doll and looks forward to performing new works in the following months.

Angela enjoys teaching a wide variety of genres including classical singing, musical theatre and jazz. In the past 10 years, she has taught private voice lessons to students ranging in age from 5 to 55 years old. She greatly enjoys working with her students as it keeps her young and reminds her of when she started her journey in the arts.
