Jake Scott (Drawing, Mixed Media)
As a Native Oklahoman, Jake Scott has thrived in the rich and diverse culture of the Norman community for the past five years. He is currently working to earn his BFA at the University of Oklahoma School of Art and Art History with an emphasis in printmaking and drawing. In 2010, he co-founded Headdresses, a Norman based screenprinting and design company, and worked as the company’s lead designer. Many of his hand-drawn prints are inspired by his American Indian heritage, native plains and southwestern roots, as well as icons that have come to represent Oklahoma’s untamed history. His art can be found throughout Norman and Oklahoma City.
